Block 22B

Alara Resources Limited (ASX: AUQ), through its joint venture Al Hadeetha Mining LLC, is advancing exploration across the expansive Block 22B concession in the Sultanate of Oman. This highly prospective zone is being systematically explored for copper, gold, chromite, and platinum group elements (PGEs), aligning with global demand for critical and precious metals.

Block 22B represents a consolidation of multiple Exploration, Prospecting, and Mining Licenses that were previously held by various operators. By unifying these tenements under one concession, Alara has established a cohesive exploration hub with significant geological potential closer to operational copper concentrator.

The concession is defined by compelling indicators, including an existing copper mine within the block, Drill-intercepted copper mineralization confirming subsurface potential, and ancient workings and widespread copper slags in the southwestern and northeastern regions — clear evidence of historical copper extraction and long-standing mineralization. Together, these geological markers underscore Block 22B’s potential as a multi-metal resource base, with opportunities to both expand Oman’s mining landscape and contribute to global supply chains of critical minerals.
