Local Community Support Initiatives around Al Wash-hi Majaza Copper Gold Project

From the commencement of the Al Wash-hi Majaza Copper Gold Project, Alara Resources has focused on community development. Alara, represented by its Omani JV Al Hadeetha Resources, has been a participant in the “Investment Seminar in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi" held North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, and sponsored by His Excellency Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed Al Shamsi, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah. The key agenda of the Seminar was the importance of the support and wellbeing of the local community while undertaking any major investment project.

Al Hadeetha Resources has also invested in upgradation of an Oman Water & Wastewater Services Company operated Sewage Treatment Plant located in close proximity to the Al Wash-hi Majaza Copper Gold Project.

Other initiatives undertaken by Al Hadeetha Resources in Oman include maintenance of roads and playgrounds in the area of the Copper Gold Project.
