The Al Hadeetha Wash-hi Majaza Copper-Gold Project is located approximately 160km south-west of the capital city Muscat, in the Sultanate of Oman.

The Project is being operated by Al Hadeetha Resources LLC (AHRL) which is a joint venture between Alara Oman Operations Pty Ltd (wholly owned subsidiary of Alara Resources Ltd), Al Hadeetha Investments LLC, and Al Tasnim Infrastructure LLC. The initial joint venture was formed in 2011 for the purpose of exploring and developing the mineral zones within the Wash-hi Majaza, Al Ajal and Mullaq license areas. Al Tasnim joined the JV in 2019.

The project entails mining the Al Wash-hi – Majaza copper-gold deposit by means of a single open-pit mine and a 1 MTPA processing facility to produce copper concentrate for export. Alara has entered an offtake agreement with Trafigura for it to buy the large majority of copper concentrate and gold production over life of mine, at a price linked to the spot price at the time of each delivery.
