The Daris Copper-Gold Project is owned by Daris Resources LLC (DRL), a Joint Venture between Alara Resources Ltd (50% with option to increase to 70%) and Al Tamman Trading Establishment (50%).
The Block-7 prospect area in Oman extends along the low foothills of ophiolite chain between the Al Suwaq-Huwayl gravel road in the west and Daris village in the east. It is less than a two-hour drive from Muscat (150km) in a westerly direction.
The Daris Project consists of two high-grade copper mineralisation within the 587km² Block 7 Exploration Licence. Within the Exploration Licence area Mining License applications were submitted covering 4.5km² (Daris East and Daris 3A-5), pending grant.
